Well yesterday was all very exciting! We were up at the station at 10 past nine to catch a train to King's Cross/St Pancras International and i stood up most of the way.
When we got there we took a look at the ginormous statue of the guy and girl.
Next we took a train to South Kensington (by the way do undergroun escalators go any faster than normal ones?) we then went to the Natural Hostory Museum and had a look around there, had a gorge chocolate fudge cake, mmmmm!!!! Quite a few Frencha nd German students around, French girls giggling thouigh they didnt realise we were laughing at them just as much!!!
Next we went to the science museum and looked around and went to see Dinosaurs 3D in the Imax which was very good, except for a group of American peeps behind us going, 'i dont like this' 'i think this is worse than the last one' etc. in what i find a very annoying accent. Another thing, how daft is it that the Americans call their museum, the musuem of natural history, wtf!!! We looked around the medicine bit which was pretty wicked!!!
Next we took the tube to Leicster square to have some dinner in the burger king there, some serious people watching time! Then i checked out the weird yet clean metal loo's!!!
Also walked through Chinatown, vvvvvvv kwl, first time in my life i have felt tall!!! Walked through to Picadilly circus, could see BT tower, then got the train back to St Pancras, then home.
To me that was one HUGE adventure, cause we arent the sorta family who go to London all of the time, my Dad works in a factory in a nearby town and my mum works in the local playgroup. I ahve never been to Leicster square or chinatown though i think ive been on a schl bus tour past picadilly!!!!
Only time i go to London its normally the west end for the theatre or direct to a museum.Been on the underground to Camden once and on a few primary school trips to museums and on that one bus tour with my primary schl!
Yeah so one big adventure and one messily written blog!!!
